Contemplation

This was taken last year in Scotland. To be more precise it is of Loch Lochy between the town of Fort William & Loch Ness. This was my first trip to Scotland but not my last. The mountains and the locks had a profound effect on me. An effect that made me focus inwards. This was a place where I could happily sit all day without the need to do anything.
Summer’s Evening

This is taken a few minutes walk from my home. During the day it is usuallly busy with Oxford student rowers training for the annual Oxford – Cambridge Boat Race.
A little bit further down, past the boat moored on the right hand side, is a pub which is the perfect place to enjoy a drink on a summer’s evening right by the river.
Patience

I took this very early one morning at a friends house after a very enjoyable evening of babecuing and wonderful company. I seem to be an early riser most days and this day was no different. It was a beautiful morning and I had hoped to settle outside with a cup of coffee and a book, while enjoying the solitude of the morning. It didn’t quite go as I had planned as this particular beauty had other plans, mostly involving me providing some kind of attention with the odd break thrown in as she was chasing a few pigeons! After a good hour of this she eventually ran out of steam and let me read while she was watching the world go by (or perhaps looking for more pigeons!!)
