This is taken around the corner from Hemingway’s house in Key West, Florida.
However, I felt much more attracted to this little house and found myself getting into a daydream of sitting on the porch with my laptop and a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while watching the world go by.
While most people (I guess) would prefer a much larger and more modern house in a much more lucrative location, I really felt connected with this little place. I used to dream of the big house filled with all the latest gadgets but I seem to have changed over the years as I no longer crave a lot of space. These days I find myself craving for a much simpler life. Social status and success as defined by modern society means very little to me anymore.

It is beautiful and looks very cosy too.
They say fewer possessions mean freedom of mind and spirit. I do believe this is true. After all, we need very little to be truly happy.
I couldn’t agree more Shiona it does look really cosy.
I have a lot less now than I used to have and I realise that most of my possessions of the past was acquired as a way of getting validation from others to compensate for a lack of self love.
